Job Summary:

Zymo Research is looking for a dynamic individual to join our DTC partner company, Epimorphy, with a focus on simplifying the concept of biological age with next-generation DNA testing, science-backed supplements, and personalized lifestyle solutions.  This is an exciting opportunity to explore how to bring cutting-edge technologies and solutions to the consumer

In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing and streamlining business processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and smooth workflow across different departments.  You will be mentored by a senior team member to support and effectively guide your contributions to research project objectives.

The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated learner, an effective team player, and possess a strong interest in learning about process optimization, cross-functional collaboration, and anaylzing workflows for improved operational processes. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and have experience in basic workflow dynamics and a passion for applying efficiencies for optimal customer experiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting team members to optimize operation workflow.
  • Research and development on cost effective flow for customer engagement
  • Optimize order process
  • Establish best shipping practices
  • Assess ship fulfillment efficiencies and capacity (internal vs. 3PL model)

Education and Experience:

  • Have or working towards a BS or MS in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or related field with an interest in Operation Management OR working towards an Operations Management degree.  Preferably a recent graduate or someone with junior or senior standing at an accredited university.
  • Demonstrate clear verbal & written communication skills.
  • Well-developed people skills are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Compensation:

The estimated base compensation range for this position is $20/hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation details will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
