FAQ

I submitted my application. When should I expect to hear from you?

Once you submit your application, your information is queued up for review by a Zymo Research recruiter. If your past experiences and skills are a potential match to position's needs, and there is interest on behalf of the hiring manager, you will be contacted directly via email by the recruiter holding the job requisition. This process generally takes between 1 and 2 weeks.

The Zymo Research paid biotechnology internship program is driven by business strategy and needs. The current product and service strategies and team needs determine what and how many paid internships for each quarter. Therefore, we may have a few or over a dozen interns at any given time.

If your skills and experience meet the requirements of the position and there is hiring manager interest, a recruiter will contact you directly by email and invite you to have an initial one – way interview using our video interviewing platform. If the interview goes well, you may be asked to participate in an in-person interview as well. If all goes well again and there is a mutually beneficial fit, you will receive your offer.

If your performance has been good to great, and the department you interned in has a full-time need, you may be strongly considered for a full-time position. Furthermore, as an intern you may apply for any position in the company where there are openings. We love great interns and always provide access to open position and connections with hiring managers.
