Quick-RNA Fungal/Bacterial Kits

The Quick-RNA Fungal/Bacterial Kits are designed for the simple and rapid isolation of RNA from tough-to-lyse fungi, bacteria, algae, and protozoa. Fungal RNA extraction is possible from a variety of species, including A. fumigatus, C. albicans, N. crassa, S. cerevisiae, and S. pombe. Bacterial RNA extraction is possible from both Gram-positive and Gram-negative species. The procedure is easy and can be completed in minutes: fungal and/or bacterial samples are rapidly and efficiently lysed with our state-of-the-art, high-density BashingBeads, and Zymo-Spin column technology is then used to purify inhibitor-free RNA. This fungal and bacterial RNA extraction kit yields highly pure total RNA that is ideal for downstream molecular-based applications including Next-Generation sequencing, RT-PCR, microarray, hybridization, etc.
